Straight after the Easter long weekend, Nikon has now announced the recently much rumored D5000. With a 2.7-inch articulating display, the D5000 is equipped with a 12.3 megapixel DX-format sensor that maxes out at ISO 3200 with a 4fps burst rate, sports one-button Live View, and 720/24p movie mode. Other features include an 11-point AF system with 3D focus tracking and 19 scene modes. With a number of high end features, the price tag is pretty heavy as well, the D5000 will cost $849 with a 18-55 VR kit lens, or $729 for just the body - not surprisingly, this price tag is just under that of the Canon T1i.
