Black Boxs Latest Gadgets in Technology Prepared for CES 2009
CES honorees were finally announced and we’ll spend a considerable amount of time to cover the most interesting innovations of the latest gadgets in technology.
One of the most appreciated gadgets producer is Black Box, a Florida-based company specialized in customer products. Its Personal Pocket Safe was named one of the Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering honorees. It is a pocketable drive that connects to your computer via USB and stores all your important information including personal data, in the most secure way, using several high-security layers.
Personal Pocket Safe comes with a special software that allows you organize files and information such as bank statements and bills, insurance policies and even passwords.
The security involves DataLock PIN protection, 256-bit AES encryption and epoxy shield that destroys memory in case of forced access.
“We are thrilled by the recognition and awards we have received leading into this year’s CES,” said John Tate, President of Black Box Innovations. “We are looking forward to making our first appearance at the International CES and being featured as Day 23 on this list is a great start.”
Personal Pocket Safe is available a around $60.
Other two amazing products will b unveiled in Las Vegas in January: the Knox-IT – a USB flash drive with high-end security for carrying all your personal information wit you wherever you go, and the SafeMouse – a high-en mouse model with built-in, real-time backup system.
