Modern wall art

When I visited, a couple of weeks ago, the National Museum of Contemporary Art, my first impression was that I somehow stepped in a weird world that was very different from anything that I knew up until that moment. There were sculptures that didn’t give you a clue about their signification, abstract paintings that put everyone’s mind to a test and all sorts of inventions that you couldn’t have imagined.

The device you can see in the picture, called the Eye Lamp, is as futuristic as those exhibits were, looking very stylish and weird in the same time. I don’t know about you, but when seeing the Eye Lamp it’s like the wall this is placed on is endowed with life. Don’t you feel like the wall keeps an eye on you and on what you’re doing? You just can’t tell whether it’s you looking at the lamp or it’s the other way around.

This cool lamp, a piece of modern wall art, is made of polished metal and shines just like you can see in the picture above as long as it’s open. In addition, you can adjust the light by closing partially or raising the lids of the lamp.

This is just a concept for the moment, so don’t put your hopes too high! You won’t be able to buy it, or at least not until this thing hits the market.
